According to the YouTube API Services - Developer Policies we inform you about the information RecoverMy.Video accesses, collects and stores in its database.

  • Channels
  • Playlists (e.g. Favorites)
  • Playlist videos

How we use your YouTube data

After clicking the "Recover now" button on the RecoverMy.Video homepage, your above-mentioned YouTube data gets fetched and stored in RecoverMy.Video's database. At the same time a RecoverMy.Video user account is created and linked to your YouTube data in our database.

If any videos get deleted on YouTube, which you've added to your playlist before, we will be able to identify these videos by matching your current YouTube playlist videos with the ones stored in our database.

The titles of the deleted YouTube videos will be displayed to you in the RecoverMy.Video backend, which can be accessed by clicking the "Recover now" button on the RecoverMy.Video homepage.

Your current YouTube data is accessed and updated in our database each time you click on the "Recover now" button and once in 24 hours by an automated update script.
